This Fresh 48 session is one of my favorite sessions since I have been doing photography professionally. The M Ohana was so amazingly sweet and the three older brothers were just a joy to photograph. I captured so much love and joy between all of them as they become a family of six when they welcomed a new baby boy into their family. I came early, well before the boys joined us, and I felt that I captured pure and raw emotion as the boys poured into the room in their pajamas, eager to see the baby and ask a million baby questions. Seeing a young child’s reaction to meeting a baby and discovering things like their piko (hawaiian for belly button) was just priceless!
Mahalo to this amazing family for the opportunity to capture such sweet tender moments. Sessions like these are not so popular on this island and I really wish it was because I absolutely LOVE documenting these special occasions for a growing family!
