It is safe to say that sunset is my favorite light to shoot photos in Hawaii! With the sun setting on the ocean, it can create the most stunning and vibrant colors on cloudy days. Also, don’t be afraid of clouds on the day of your session—your photographer gets giddy watching them go by! Cloudy and partly cloudy sunsets such as this day at the Four Seasons Hualalai where we dove in even with the forecast of possible isolated rain showers created some of the most stunning sunsets on the Big Island!
This sweet family at the Four Seasons Hualalai located on the west coast coast of the Big Island has me craving for summer again! 2019 was my busiest and biggest summer to date. I photographed so many wonderful weddings, engagements and families. It is always such a pleasure to capture these moments for families who are only on the island for a short time and I hope my images remind them not only of how summer has been but also all the fun they had during their brief stay on the islands. On that note, summer 2020 plans are already underway for us and I am super excited just thinking about it.
